OK - so what have we missed out, will this help..... |
 |
What follows below are some questions you might want to ask, and to save you an e-mail we have tried to answer them below. Of course if this doesn't answer your query, please call or e-mail and we will do our best to help....
Question: Will there be non-gay people working in the villa during my/our stay, at La Pinède?
Answer: No. As the gay-owners, we will look after you by ourselves.
Question: Will all the other guests be gay?
Answer: All guests during your stay will have found us through this site so one can assume that they are either gay or gay friendly coming on holiday with gay friends. We do have weeks not exclusively gay but will always inform you at the time of booking if this is the case.
Question: Will the other guests all be male (or female, come to that)?
Answer: We welcome both gay men and lesbians and other gay-friendly guests. However we try to be as flexible as possible, and if you would like a week of single sex guests, let us know with your initial enquiry and we will do our best to help. The villa will be adult only during your stay- we decided for 2009 to be a child-free zone!
Question: Will there be any children or can I bring my children?
Answer: The Villa has very high quality furnishings with art and sculpture collections. Coupled with the nature of the grounds, Villa la Pinede is not considered ideal for children under 16. We are more than happy to accommodate gay families but can only consider well-behaved under 16 year olds if the whole villa reserved.
Question: How “private” is the accommodation?
Answer: At La Pinède the pool area is not overlooked, so if you want that all over tan and there being no objections from other guests, strip off. We try to be naturist when ever possible – and sport great all over tans! In terms of security we have electrically operated gates, with fencing surrounding the 2 acres of wooded grounds.

HOW TO FIND VILLA LA PINEDE |
FROM NIMES-GARONS AIRPORT: Join Autoroute A54, Direction "ARLES". Take Exit signed "Tarascon/Beaucaire" and at the island take "Arles Le Fourchon". At roundabout follow N570 signed "Tarascon & Fontvielle", do the same at at the next roundabaout and then at third roundabout turn right, signed "Fontvielle & Abbaye de Montmajour". (D17). After Fontvielle follow the road on to Le Paradou & Maussane (villages joined together). On entering Maussane pass the hotel "Castillon des Baux" on the right. Look out for the restaurant "La Fleur de Thym" on the left-directly opposite the restaurant is a very narrow turn to the right immediately next to an opticians shop. The road is called both "Chemin du Mas D'Isoard" and "Impasse du Touret", though the name plaques are only on the right side of the entry so you need to turn immediately by the optician! Follow it down about 150 metres until the road turns to the left--Villa La Pinède is the large yellow building down a narrow driveway on the right behind black wrought iron gates. |
From NICE/MARSEILLE AIRPORTS--follow relevant autoroutes to join A7 direction "Lyon". Approaching Salon de Provence take Exit 28 signed "Arles & Montpellier", Autoroute A 54. Leave the A54 at Exit 13, signed "Eygières, St Remy, Les Baux de Provence". At the island follow signs for Arles and Les Baux. At the next island take the second exit, signed "Mouries & Maussane". Pass through Mouriès village and on to Maussane. On entering the village carry straight on, through the main square with cafés, and church on the right. After about 300 metres you pass restaurant "Le Petit Maussanais" and "Pizza Brun" both on the right, and then just after look out for the restaurant "La Fleur de Thym", also on the right. Directly opposite is a very small & narrow road called both "Chemin du Mas D'Isoard" & "Impasse de Touret". Take this road for about 150 metres until a bend to the left--Villa La Pinède is a large yellow building on your right down a driveway behind black wrought iron gates.
