The Marseille gay night life and that of Avignon and Nimes are all not too far away and ideal to visit during your gay holiday in the South of France. We are happy to arrange transport to fully enjoy the Marseille gay night life available with lots of gay bars and great night club also. Nimes and Avignon even closer.

With superb views and set in the idyllic and peaceful countryside in Provence, a short walk from Maussane Les Alpilles village centre, our hotel guest house with Provence rental studio was designed by us and built to our own specification on a gentle hillside set in 2 acres of private woodland.

Maussane Les Alpilles is a pretty, bustling little village with its main square dominated by the imposing old church but surrounded by many bars, restaurants and open-air cafes. There is a very popular weekly Provencal market just a few minutes walk from the villa.

We want you to relax and enjoy your time at La Pinède – we can provide lunch by the pool and the bar is open all day for guests taking meals. In the evening we will indulge you with a satisfying 3 course meal including choice of local wines from our cellar, served either in the dining room or on the first floor balcony where you can also drink in the wonderful views across the rolling landscape in Provence.

If you so wish you need never leave the villa during your stay, other than maybe for a gentle stroll through the private woodlands – everything can be provided for you in our superb location.

Whilst Maussanne is a typical unspoilt Provencal village –the Marseille gay scene and France nightlife are within a short drive as are Nimes, Marseille, Montpellier and Avignon which all have a wide choice of shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and mens clubs.

Twist our arms and we will be happy to lead an expedition to and from the “Cancan” club in Marseille – one of our favourites!

How to find us.......

By Air: Villa La Pinède is ideally located around 30 minutes from Nimes, Marseille and Avignon airports, and an hour from Montpellier airport. Nice and Perpignan are around 2 and a half hours. We can arrange transfer or taxi to the villa ensuring a relaxed and stress-free start to your holiday. Alternatively car hire is very reasonably priced and convenient and allows you freedom of movement whilst staying at the villa.

Ryanair, EasyJet, Fly-be, , BA and Air France all fly to one or all of the airports. We are happy to advise on flights if requested and guide you to the appropriate websites.

By Road: From Calais there is motorway almost door-to-door to Maussane – the village is about 30 minutes from the Cavaillon turn off on the A7.

By Train: The TGV from Paris is incredibly quick taking you to Avignon or Arles (which is closer to Maussane). Again we can arrange collection from the station to La Pinède.
